Possible Causes

Faulty drying heater (if separate from main heater), Defective fan motor in turbo-drying system, Failed NTC sensor in drying duct, Control board drying relay fault

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing top or side panels where the drying system is located.

  • Confirm symptom: Run a full program and check if the interior is warm at the end. If not, and E09 is displayed, suspect the drying system.
  • Access drying unit: On models with turbo-drying, remove the top or side panel to reach the drying fan and heater assembly.
  • Inspect fan and ducts: Check for lint, grease, or plastic blocking the air passages. Ensure the fan wheel spins freely.
  • Test heater and sensor: Use a multimeter to measure resistance of the drying heater and NTC sensor. Replace any component that is open circuit or out of specification.
  • Check wiring and connectors: Ensure all plugs are firmly seated and there are no burnt contacts.
  • If components test OK: The main PCB may not be powering the drying circuit correctly. This usually requires professional repair or board replacement.
