Possible Causes
Faulty flow meter in the hydraulic system, Wiring issue to the flow meter, Blocked or scaled flow chamber, Defective turbidity sensor in the sump.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the power before removing panels or disconnecting sensors.
- 1. Reset and observe: Reset the dishwasher by turning off the power for a few minutes, then restart a cycle. If E7 reappears quickly, proceed with the inspection.
- 2. Locate flow meter: On many Bertazzoni models, the flow meter is integrated into the side water distribution or inlet assembly. Remove the side panel to access it.
- 3. Inspect for scale and debris: Disconnect the flow meter and check for mineral buildup or debris in the small turbine wheel. Clean gently with vinegar and water if scaled.
- 4. Check wiring: Ensure the harness connector is fully seated and not corroded or damaged.
- 5. Turbidity sensor: If equipped, the turbidity sensor is mounted in the sump. Remove and clean the lens with a soft cloth. Replace if cracked or heavily stained.
If cleaning and reconnecting do not resolve E7, the sensor or control board may require replacement by a professional.
