Possible Causes
Worn door gasket, damaged bottom door seal, overfilling due to inlet fault, spray arm hitting the door and directing water at the seal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off the power and water supply before inspecting for leaks.
- Inspect the door gasket: Open the door and examine the rubber gasket around the tub opening for tears, flattening, or gaps. Replace if damaged.
- Check the bottom seal: Inspect the lower door seal or deflector for cracks or warping. Replace if worn.
- Verify spray arm clearance: Ensure the lower and middle spray arms are not cracked or warped and do not strike the door or racks. Replace damaged arms.
- Check the water level: If the water level is excessively high, investigate inlet valve and pressure switch issues that could cause overfill.
