Possible Causes

Glass shard in the circulation pump, bone or debris in the drain pump, loose spray arm hitting dishes, worn pump bearings

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off the power before reaching into the sump or removing pumps.

Check spray arms: Spin each spray arm by hand to ensure they rotate freely and do not contact racks or tall items. Remove any items blocking rotation.
Inspect the sump: Remove the filters and look for foreign objects such as glass, bones, or utensils. Remove carefully.
Check the drain pump: Access the drain pump and inspect the impeller area for debris. Remove any obstructions.
Circulation pump noise: If the noise persists and seems to come from the circulation pump, the bearings may be worn. Replace the pump assembly if the noise is severe.
