Dishwasher takes much longer than the time shown on the display; cycles extend significantly.

Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher before any internal checks.

• Check water temperature: If connected to cold water, the dishwasher will take longer to heat. This is normal to a point, but if cycles are excessively long, the heater may be weak.
• Verify heater operation: During a hot program, carefully open the door after 20–30 minutes. If the water is still cold, see heating fault guidance.
• Clean sensors and filters: Clean filters, spray arms, and run a cleaning cycle to ensure the turbidity sensor is not misreading due to dirt.
• Check water pressure: Ensure the inlet tap is fully open and that fills are not excessively slow.
