How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dishwasher before removing the door fascia or control panel.
- Dry the control area: If steam or water has entered the control panel, allow the door area to dry completely. Do not use the appliance until dry.
- Access UI board: Remove the inner door panel to expose the control fascia and user interface PCB.
- Inspect ribbon cable: Check the flat cable between the UI and main board for kinks, breaks, or corrosion at the connectors. Reseat both ends.
- Check for stuck buttons: Press each button individually and ensure they move freely. Clean around the buttons if debris is present.
- Replace UI panel: If the keypad or touch panel is unresponsive or shorted, replace the user interface assembly with a CDA-compatible part.
