Possible Causes

Insufficient household water pressure, Partially closed shutoff valve, Clogged inlet screen on the Dacor valve, Kinked supply hose.

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power and water before disconnecting hoses.

  • Check shutoff valve: Ensure the under-sink valve feeding the dishwasher is fully open.
  • Inspect supply hose: Look for kinks or sharp bends in the stainless or braided hose. Straighten or replace if damaged.
  • Clean inlet screen: Disconnect the hose at the dishwasher and remove any debris from the small screen in the Dacor inlet valve.
  • Verify house pressure: If other fixtures also have low pressure, address the plumbing issue. Dishwashers typically require at least 20–30 psi.
  • Test fill again: Restore water and power, then run a short cycle to confirm that E17 is cleared.
