How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Disconnect power before working on the door assembly.

1. Check door closure: Ensure the dishwasher is level and not pushed too far back, which can prevent the door from latching fully. Adjust the leveling feet if needed.
2. Inspect the latch strike: Open the door and inspect the metal strike on the cabinet frame. Make sure it is not bent and that it aligns with the Hisense door latch.
3. Test the latch: Close the door firmly and listen for a positive click. If the door feels loose or does not click, the latch assembly may be worn.
4. Access the door lock: Remove the inner door panel screws to expose the latch and switch assembly. Check for broken plastic parts or a loose switch.
5. Electrical check: If qualified, test the door switch for continuity when the latch is engaged. Replace the Hisense door lock/switch assembly if it fails.
6. Reassemble and test: Refit the inner door panel, restore power, and start a cycle. If E10 persists, the control board input may be faulty and require replacement.
