Detergent tablet remains in the dispenser at the end of the cycle.

Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing internal door components.

• Check loading: Ensure tall plates or pans are not blocking the detergent dispenser door from opening.
• Test door manually: With the machine off, open and close the dispenser to ensure it snaps shut and opens freely.
• Inspect mechanism: Remove the inner door panel and inspect the dispenser latch and spring for damage.
• Replace dispenser: If the mechanism is weak or broken, replace the entire dispenser assembly.

If the dispenser is mechanically sound but never opens, the control board output may be faulty.
