Possible Causes
Worn door gasket, Blocked or misdirected spray arm jet, Over-foaming from incorrect detergent, Damaged lower door seal
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power and turn off water before inspecting for leaks.
- Check detergent: Ensure you are using only dishwasher detergent and not hand dish soap. Over-foaming can cause leaks.
- Inspect door gasket: Examine the door gasket around the tub opening for tears, flattening, or buildup. Clean it and replace if damaged.
- Lower door seal: Inspect the bottom door seal (on the inner door) for wear or deformation. Replace if water tracks are visible.
- Spray arms: Check that spray arms are not cracked and that jets are not blocked, which can cause water to spray directly at the door corners.
- Leveling: Ensure the dishwasher is not tilted forward; adjust feet so the unit leans slightly back.
