Dishwasher will not start; CL is displayed and buttons may be locked.

This is a feature, not a fault.

• Disable child lock: On most LG dishwashers, press and hold the Child Lock or Control Lock button (often a combination like Dual Zone + Half Load or a key icon) for 3–5 seconds until CL disappears.
• Check user manual: Refer to your specific model's manual for the exact button combination.
• Power reset: If CL will not clear, turn off the breaker for 1 minute and try again.

If the lock indicator will not toggle despite correct button presses, the control panel / touchpad may be faulty.
