Possible Causes
Failed Maidaid tank heater, Faulty temperature sensor, Tripped safety thermostat, Faulty heater relay on PCB
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate power. Heating circuits carry mains voltage.
- Confirm symptom: After a full cycle, open the door carefully. If the interior is cold and dishes are not warm, heating is not occurring.
- Check safety thermostat: Locate and reset any manual-reset Maidaid safety thermostat on the tank or boiler.
- Test heater: Measure resistance across the tank heater terminals. Replace the Maidaid heating element if open-circuit.
- Check NTC: Verify the temperature sensor resistance is within Maidaid specifications.
- PCB relay: If heater and sensors are good, the heater relay on the control board may be faulty and should be replaced by a professional.
