Safety: Disconnect power and turn off water. Expect residual water in the sump.

• Clean filters: Open the door, remove the lower basket, and take out the coarse and fine filters. Rinse thoroughly under running water.
• Check pump area: Remove the filter frame to access the drain pump cover. Open the cover and inspect for glass, bones, or debris blocking the impeller. Remove obstructions carefully.
• Inspect drain hose: Check the hose behind the machine and at the sink trap for kinks or clogs. Detach from the siphon and flush with water.
• Test pump: Reassemble, restore power, and run a drain or short program. If the pump hums but does not turn, or is silent, the drain pump motor is likely defective and should be replaced.
