Possible Causes
Rinse aid empty or set too low, Eco program with low final temperature, faulty drying fan (if equipped), insufficient heating due to a weak heater.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before accessing any fan or heater components.
- Step 1 – Rinse aid:
- Check and refill the rinse aid dispenser.
- Increase the rinse aid dosage setting if spots or wetness persist.
- Step 2 – Program choice:
- Use a hotter program with active drying rather than the shortest Eco cycle.
- Step 3 – Loading and door opening:
- Load dishes so that water can run off (e.g., tilt cups and bowls).
- Open the door slightly at the end of the cycle to release steam.
- Step 4 – Drying fan (if present):
- If your Siemens model has a side fan and you hear no fan noise, the fan may be defective.
- Access and test/replace the fan as described for error code E07.
If dishes are also cold at the end of the cycle, investigate heater/heat pump issues (E09/E10-related).
