Safety first: Disconnect power before working on the door assembly.

• Check door closure: Ensure the dishwasher is level and not pushed too far back into the cabinet, which can prevent the door from latching fully.
• Inspect latch strike: Examine the metal strike on the tub frame for bending or misalignment. Adjust slightly so the latch engages firmly.
• Test door switch: Remove the inner door panel to access the door lock assembly. Manually operate the latch and listen for a distinct click from the microswitch.
• Check wiring: Verify the harness to the door lock is secure and not pinched by the door panel.
• Replace door lock assembly: If the switch does not click or tests open with a multimeter when engaged, replace the entire door lock/latch assembly.
