E10
Bush Moisture Sensor / Humidity Circuit Fault

Bush dryer shows E10 and may not start or may stop with beeping; often related to sensor drying modes.

Possible Causes

Dirty or coated drum moisture sensor bars, Broken wire to moisture sensor, Faulty moisture sensor module, Defective control PCB sensor input

How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before working on internal wiring. Cleaning the sensor bars can be done with the unit unplugged and door open.

  • Locate and clean sensor bars: Inside the drum, near the door opening, look for two metal strips (moisture sensors). Clean them thoroughly with a non-abrasive scouring pad and a little white vinegar or mild detergent to remove fabric softener residue.
  • Check for physical damage: Ensure the sensor bars are not loose or broken. Tighten mounting screws if necessary.
  • Inspect wiring to sensors: Remove the front lower panel or top cover (depending on model) to access the sensor wiring. Check for broken or disconnected wires and repair as needed.
  • Test in timed mode: After cleaning, run the dryer in a non-sensor (timed) program. If it runs normally without E10, the issue was likely dirty sensors. If E10 still appears, the sensor module or PCB may be faulty.
  • Replace sensor assembly if needed: If wiring is intact but E10 persists only in sensor modes, replacing the moisture sensor assembly or control PCB may be required.
