Possible Causes
Blocked condenser unit, Clogged air channels, Faulty airflow or pressure sensor, Dirty or failed condenser NTC sensor
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Disconnect power before removing any covers. Some edges around the condenser compartment can be sharp.
- Clean condenser: For condenser and heat pump De Dietrich dryers, remove the condenser unit from the front access panel. Rinse it thoroughly with warm water to remove lint and dust. Allow it to dry completely before reinstalling.
- Clear air channels: Inspect the air ducts leading to and from the condenser. Remove lint, dust, and any obstructions. Ensure the fan wheel is clean and rotates freely.
- Check condenser NTC: Locate the NTC sensor attached to or near the condenser. Inspect wiring and measure resistance at room temperature. Replace the condenser NTC sensor if readings are out of specification.
- Airflow/pressure sensor: Some models use a pressure switch or airflow sensor. Check the small hoses for blockages or kinks. If the sensor does not switch correctly when airflow is present, it may need replacement.
- Reset and test: After cleaning and checks, reconnect power and run a test cycle. If E07 returns, further diagnosis of the control board and sensors by a technician is recommended.
