Possible Causes
Faulty 'Start' button, Door not detected as closed, Child lock active, Defective control panel PCB.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Always disconnect power before removing the control panel or door lock.
- Check display messages: Look for child lock or 'door open' icons. Disable the child lock according to the user manual.
- Verify door closure: Ensure the door is fully closed and latched. Listen for a click from the door lock when pressing 'Start'.
- Test Start button: If accessible, remove the control panel and test the 'Start' button switch for continuity when pressed.
- Inspect door switch/lock: Test the door switch for continuity when the door is closed.
If the 'Start' button and door switch are functional, the control board may not be processing the start command and may need replacement.
