Dryer interior light does not turn on when the door is opened, but dryer otherwise works

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before replacing the light or accessing wiring.

• Replace bulb or LED module: Locate the drum light cover inside the drum. Remove the cover and replace the bulb or LED module with the correct Ikea-specified part.
• Check door switch: Some models use the same switch for light and control. If the dryer runs but the light does not work, the light contact may be faulty. Test with a multimeter and replace the switch if needed.

This fault does not affect drying performance but can be corrected by replacing the failed light component.
