Dryer shows E14 and may not respond to button presses correctly

Possible Causes
Stuck or shorted button, Damaged touch panel, Loose ribbon cable, Moisture ingress into control panel
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before removing the control panel.
- Check for stuck buttons: Press each button several times. If any feel stuck or do not click, gently work them free. Wipe the panel with a slightly damp cloth and dry thoroughly.
- Inspect for moisture: If the panel has been exposed to steam or spills, allow it to dry completely. Do not use the dryer until the panel is dry.
- Reseat ribbon cable: Remove the control panel fascia and carefully disconnect and reconnect the ribbon cable between the user interface and main board.
If E14 persists and certain buttons do not respond, the user interface board or touch panel likely needs replacement.
