Monogram Drum Light Circuit Failure

Dryer drum light does not work but dryer otherwise operates normally

Possible Causes

Burned out drum light bulb, Faulty door switch light contacts, Loose light socket connection, Failed light relay on control board (if equipped)

Safety first: Unplug the dryer before replacing the bulb or accessing wiring.

Replace bulb: Remove the drum light cover and replace the bulb with the correct type and wattage specified by Monogram.
Test door switch: If the new bulb does not light, test the door switch light contacts for continuity when the door is open.
Inspect socket and wiring: Check the light socket and wiring for loose connections or corrosion. Repair as needed.
