Dryer drum light stays on even when the door is closed, or never comes on at all.

Safety: Unplug the dryer.

• Check bulb: Remove the drum light cover and inspect/replace the bulb with the correct type.
• Test door switch: If the light stays on with door closed, test the door switch for proper operation and replace if stuck open/closed.
• Inspect socket: Check the light socket and wiring for burns or loose connections.
• PCB issue: If bulb and switch are good but light still misbehaves, the PCB may be faulty and require professional replacement.
