Dryer emits unusual rattling or metallic noises

Safety first: Turn off and unplug the dryer before inspection.

• Inspect drum interior: Check inside the drum and around the door seal for coins, buttons, or other objects.
• Check baffles: Look inside the drum baffles (lifters) for trapped items. Remove screws to access if necessary.
• Inspect blower fan: Remove the rear or side panel to access the blower housing. Remove any debris from the fan blades.
• Tighten loose parts: Check for loose screws, brackets, or panels and tighten them.
