Possible Causes
Broken or slipped drive belt, Worn idler pulley, Seized drum support roller, Drum jammed by foreign object
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the dryer before removing any panels.
- Check drum rotation: Open the door and try to spin the drum by hand. If it spins freely with little resistance and the motor runs, the belt is likely broken.
- Access the belt: Remove the top panel and then the front panel to expose the drum. Inspect the belt around the drum and motor pulley.
- Replace broken belt: If the belt is snapped or frayed, remove it completely. Route a new belt around the drum, motor pulley, and idler pulley according to the routing diagram (often on the cabinet or in the manual).
- Inspect idler pulley and rollers: Spin the idler pulley and drum support rollers by hand. Replace any that are noisy, wobbly, or seized.
- Reassemble and test: Refit the front and top panels, restore power, and run a test cycle to confirm the drum now turns and E07 is cleared.
