Possible Causes
Failed magnetic or mechanical holster sensor, Misaligned holster bracket, Broken sensor wiring to control board, Debris obstructing holster mechanism
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF the breaker before adjusting the holster or sensor hardware.
Steps to try:
- Clean holster: Remove dirt, cobwebs, or debris from the holster and sensor area.
- Check alignment: Ensure the holster bracket is firmly mounted and aligned so that the connector seats fully.
- Test behavior: With power ON, insert and remove the connector from the holster and observe whether the charger status changes. If E20 remains, the sensor may be faulty.
When to call a technician: A technician can test the holster sensor and replace it or its wiring harness if defective.
