No-Start Charging Without Error Indication
Vehicle will not start charging even though LEDs indicate ready and no error is shown

Possible Causes
Vehicle charge port latch issue, Faulty Type 2 cable, CP/PP tolerance mismatch between EV and charger, Vehicle onboard charger fault
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: When no error is shown, the issue is often on the vehicle side or with the cable.
- 1. Reconnect everything: Unplug the cable from both the charger and vehicle, wait 10 seconds, then reconnect firmly.
- 2. Try another cable: Use a different Type 2 cable to rule out a cable fault.
- 3. Test another EV: If possible, connect a different vehicle to see if charging starts. This helps isolate whether the issue is with the original EV.
- 4. Check vehicle settings: Ensure the EV is not in a locked or transport mode and that charging is enabled.
- 5. Power-cycle charger and vehicle: Turn the charger off at the breaker for 30 seconds and reboot the vehicle’s infotainment or power system.
