How to Fix / Troubleshooting

Safety first: Turn off power before manipulating internal wiring. Avoid placing tension on the cable while charging.

  • Step 1 – Observe behavior: Note if charging stops when the cable is bumped or moved. If so, suspect a mechanical connection issue.
  • Step 2 – Inspect cable routing: Ensure the "Electrify Home" cable is not under tension, pinched in a door, or twisted sharply.
  • Step 3 – Wiggle test: With the vehicle connected and charging, gently move the handle and cable. If charging drops out, the cable/handle assembly is likely failing.
