Charger’s cable is difficult to insert or remove from the vehicle inlet

Safety first: Do not force the connector; forcing can damage the vehicle inlet. Turn OFF power before detailed inspection.

• Inspect connector: Examine the EVgo J1772 handle for cracks, warping, or bent latch. Ensure the latch moves freely.
• Clean connector and inlet: Use a dry, soft brush to remove dust or debris from both the handle and vehicle inlet. Do not use lubricants.
• Check alignment: Align the connector straight with the inlet and insert firmly but without excessive force. If it still binds, stop.

If insertion/removal remains difficult, the EVgo connector assembly should be replaced to avoid damaging the vehicle inlet.
