The charger's front cover or mounting bracket is loose or rattling; the unit may move when plugging in or unplugging.

Safety first: Turn OFF power at the breaker before tightening any screws that might contact internal wiring.

Steps:

• 1. Check mounting hardware: Verify that all exterior mounting screws are present and tight.
• 2. Inspect wall structure: Ensure the EVSE is mounted to a solid stud or masonry, not just drywall. Add appropriate anchors or backing if needed.
• 3. Tighten internal brackets (qualified person): With the cover removed and power OFF, tighten any internal brackets securing the EVSE chassis to the mounting plate.
• 4. Replace damaged hardware: Use Leviton-specified mounting kits or equivalent rated hardware.
