Possible Causes
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Treat the circuit as live until proven otherwise. Use a non-contact tester and turn OFF the breaker before opening the charger.
Steps:
- Check breaker: Verify the dedicated Lucid charger breaker is ON and not tripped. Reset once if tripped; if it trips again, stop and investigate.
- Test outlet (if plug-in): Plug another high-load device into the same receptacle to confirm power is present.
- Inspect input wiring: With cover removed and power OFF, check that L1, L2, and ground are firmly attached to the Lucid input terminal block.
- Internal fuse: Some Lucid models include an internal low-voltage fuse on the control board. Visually inspect and replace only with the exact type and rating if blown.
Resolution: If supply power is present and fuses are intact but the unit remains dead, the Lucid control board or internal power supply has failed and must be replaced.
