Ohme
Cable Management / Mechanical Strain
Ohme charger’s cable does not retract or coil neatly; kinks and twists make it hard to plug in.

Possible Causes
Repeated tight coiling causing memory in cable, Exposure to extreme temperatures stiffening insulation, Incorrectly sized cable hooks or holders, Internal conductor fatigue from over-bending
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Note: Poor cable handling can eventually damage conductors.
- 1. Warm and straighten: On a mild day, gently uncoil the cable fully and lay it straight for a while to reduce kinks. Do not sharply bend or twist.
- 2. Use proper storage: Use the supplied cable hook or holder, making large, gentle loops rather than tight coils.
- 3. Inspect for damage: Look for cracks, flat spots, or bulges along the cable. Any such damage means the cable should be replaced.
- 4. Replacement: If the cable remains stiff or shows signs of fatigue, have a technician replace the tethered cable assembly.
