The Rivian charger's LED ring or status lights do not illuminate, but the unit still charges normally.

Safety first: Charging may still be safe, but visual status is impaired.

• Step 1 – App status: Use the Rivian app to confirm the charging state and error conditions while the LEDs are out.
• Step 2 – Power cycle: Turn the breaker OFF for 1 minute, then ON to clear display glitches.
• Step 3 – Check LED harness: With the power OFF and the cover removed, locate the LED ring harness and ensure it is firmly plugged into the control board.

If the LEDs remain nonfunctional but charging works, the LED module or driver circuit may need replacement, but the charger can often be used in the interim with app monitoring.
