Possible Causes
Failed LCD/OLED display module, Loose ribbon cable between display and main board, Damaged front panel due to impact or moisture, Faulty display driver circuit on main board
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Isolate power before removing the front cover or display module.
- 1. Check backlight/LEDs: Observe whether any backlight or status LEDs on the display module are lit. If completely dark, suspect power or connection issues.
- 2. Inspect ribbon cable: Remove the front cover and locate the display ribbon or harness. Reseat both ends carefully, ensuring the connector latches are fully engaged.
- 3. Look for moisture or damage: Check the display area for signs of water ingress or physical cracks. Replace the front panel/display assembly if damaged.
- 4. Test via app/web: If the charger can still be controlled via app or web interface, the main board is likely OK and only the display module needs replacement.
- 5. Replace display module: Install a new Vestel display/HMI module of the same type, reconnect, and test.
