Display shows E4, the internal light flickers or stays off, but the freezer otherwise cools.

Safety: Unplug the freezer before touching any light modules or wiring.

• Locate LED module: Typically mounted in the ceiling of the freezer compartment or in the control housing.
• Check connector: Remove the light cover and ensure the LED module connector is firmly plugged in.
• Visual inspection: Look for burn marks or discoloration on the LED board.
• Test module: If possible, test the LED module with a suitable low-voltage source or swap it with a known-good module from an identical model.
• Replace LED module: If faulty, install a new Bauknecht LED light assembly.
• PCB supply: If the LED is good but never receives voltage, the low-voltage driver on the main PCB may be defective, requiring board replacement.
