• Empty and inspect: Remove all food and discard any spoiled items.
• Clean interior: Wash all internal surfaces, drawers, and shelves with a solution of baking soda and warm water. Rinse and dry thoroughly.
• Clean gasket and drain: Wipe the door gasket folds and flush the defrost drain with warm water to remove organic buildup.
• Clean drain pan: From the rear, remove and clean the drain pan above the compressor if accessible.
• Air out: Leave the door open for several hours with the unit unplugged to allow odors to dissipate before restarting.
