Freezer baskets or drawers are stuck and difficult to pull out due to ice buildup.

Possible Causes

Door left ajar, Warm moist air entering frequently, Defective door gasket near drawer area, Blocked air channels causing condensation

Safety: Do not force drawers; plastic can crack. Unplug before defrosting.

Steps:

1. Defrost: Empty the freezer and allow ice around drawers to melt naturally or with bowls of warm water inside.
2. Clean and dry: Wipe all surfaces dry to remove moisture.
3. Check gasket and door closure: Ensure the door seals properly and is not being held open by protruding items.
4. Avoid overfilling: Do not pack drawers so tightly that they deform and rub against the cabinet.
