Freezer display shows LOC, or the control panel is unresponsive; the unit may still be cooling.

Safety first: No internal access is needed for this issue.

• Disable control lock: On most Café models, press and hold the Lock or corresponding button (often for 3–5 seconds) until the LOC indicator disappears. Refer to the user manual for the exact button combination.
• Check button function: If the lock will not toggle, some buttons may be stuck. Gently clean around the buttons with a soft cloth slightly dampened with mild soap solution, then dry thoroughly.
• Power reset: Unplug the freezer for 5 minutes and plug it back in to reset the UI. If the panel remains unresponsive, the user interface board may be faulty.
