Possible Causes
Unit not level, Loose leveling legs, Compressor or fan imbalance, Refrigerant lines contacting the cabinet.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Have someone assist when tilting or moving the freezer to avoid injury.
- Level the unit: Place a level on top of the freezer and adjust the front leveling legs until the unit is stable and does not rock.
- Check floor surface: Ensure the floor surface is solid and not flexing. Use shims if necessary to stabilize the unit.
- Secure lines and panels: Tighten any loose panels and secure any refrigerant lines that may be vibrating against the cabinet.
- Inspect fans: If vibration seems to originate from the fans, check for bent blades or debris and replace the fan motor if the shaft is bent or the bearings are worn.
