Possible Causes
High humidity entering due to frequent door opening, Door gasket leaks, Defrost system not fully clearing ice, Spilled liquids freezing in tracks
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Unplug the freezer before defrosting or removing drawers.
- Remove drawers: Carefully pull out drawers or baskets and inspect tracks and runners for ice or debris.
- Defrost ice: Allow ice to melt naturally or use bowls of hot water placed inside to speed up. Do not use sharp tools.
- Clean tracks: Wipe tracks and drawer edges with warm soapy water, then dry thoroughly.
- Check gasket and door closure: Ensure the Candy door gasket seals properly to reduce moisture ingress.
- Reinstall drawers: Once dry and clear, refit drawers and ensure they slide smoothly.
Warning: Forcing frozen drawers can crack plastic components; always defrost first.
