Freezer is cold but temperature fluctuates widely; sometimes too warm, sometimes too cold.

Safety: Unplug the freezer before accessing controls or sensors.

• Use a thermometer: Place an accurate freezer thermometer in the center of the compartment and log temperatures over 24–48 hours to confirm fluctuations.
• Check loading and airflow: Avoid overpacking the freezer. Keep vents clear and leave space between items for air circulation.
• Inspect sensor connections: For electronic models, access the cabinet sensor connector and the main control board. Reseat connectors to eliminate intermittent contact.
• Replace suspect components: If a mechanical thermostat is erratic, replace the Galanz thermostat. If sensors and wiring are good but control remains unstable, the main control board may need replacement.
• Allow stabilization: After any adjustment or part replacement, allow at least 24 hours for temperatures to stabilize before re-evaluating.
