Freezer interior light not working, but cooling is normal.

Safety first: Unplug the freezer before replacing any light components.

• Check door switch: Press the door switch manually and see if the light flickers. Replace the Hitachi door switch if it does not change state.
• Inspect lamp module: Remove the lamp cover and check for visible damage or a darkened LED module.
• Replace lamp: Install a genuine Hitachi LED lamp module or bulb of the correct type.
• Check wiring: Ensure the lamp connector is fully seated and wires are intact.
• Control PCB: If the lamp and switch are good but no voltage is present at the lamp, the main control PCB light driver may be faulty.
