Freezer door is difficult to open immediately after closing; a vacuum seems to form.

Safety first: No electrical hazard; this is usually a normal condition.

• Wait a few minutes: It is normal for Logik freezers to be hard to open for 1–3 minutes after closing as internal pressure equalizes.
• Check equalization vent: Some models have a small vent or valve at the rear or side. Ensure it is not blocked by dust or packaging.
• Inspect gasket: If the door is extremely hard to open even after several minutes, inspect the door gasket for over-compression or misalignment and adjust or replace if necessary.
