Prolonged high temperature, Door left open, Faulty temperature sensor, Power interruption causing alarm memory.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: No immediate electrical hazard, but food safety should be protected.
- Silence alarm: Press the alarm or mute button to silence the beeper while investigating.
- Check door and seals: Ensure the door is fully closed and the gasket is intact and clean.
- Verify temperature: Use a separate thermometer to confirm actual freezer temperature. If it is within the normal range, the alarm may be due to a past event and should clear after several hours.
- Inspect for sensor errors: If an E1/E2/E3 code is also present, follow the relevant sensor troubleshooting steps.
If the alarm persists for more than 24 hours with correct temperature and no error codes, the control board or sensor calibration may be faulty and should be inspected by a technician.
