Safety: Unplug the freezer before accessing sensors or the control board.

Steps:

1. Verify settings: Confirm that the temperature is not set to the coldest level. Adjust to a warmer setting and monitor for 24 hours.
2. Check sensor placement: Ensure the freezer thermistor is properly clipped to the evaporator or liner and is not touching the heater or exposed to warm air leaks.
3. Calibrate with thermometer: Place an accurate freezer thermometer inside and compare its readings to the display. A large discrepancy suggests sensor or control issues.
4. Replace thermistor: If the sensor is suspected, install a new Panasonic freezer thermistor.
5. If still overcooling: The main PCB relay may be stuck in the 'on' position; board replacement is required.

Freezer overcooling; food is freezing harder than usual, and the temperature is below the setpoint.
