Possible Causes
Burnt-out LED module or bulb, Faulty door switch, Loose wiring to light assembly, Failed light driver on PCB (for LED models)
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Unplug the freezer before working on the light or switch.
- Check the bulb or LED module: Remove the light cover and inspect the lamp. Replace a blown bulb with the correct type or the LED module with a Teka replacement.
- Test door switch: Locate the door switch (usually in the frame). Press it manually; if the light flickers or never comes on, test it with a multimeter and replace if open.
- Inspect wiring: Ensure connectors to the light and switch are secure and not corroded.
- PCB driver: If the bulb and switch are good but no voltage reaches the light, the PCB light driver may be faulty, requiring PCB replacement.
Test: Restore power and open the door to confirm the light operates correctly.
