How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn OFF power before tightening screws or touching moving parts.
- Tighten cabinet screws: Check all access panel screws and cabinet joints. Tighten any loose fasteners.
- Secure blower housing: Inspect the blower assembly mounting rails and screws. Tighten and ensure the blower is fully seated.
- Check for duct contact: Look for metal ducts touching wood framing or other ducts. Add foam tape or isolation pads where needed.
- Level the furnace: Use shims to level the Kelvinator furnace on its platform to reduce vibration transfer.
