The controller displays an outdoor sensor fault (if weather-compensated control is used).

Safety: Turn off the power before working on wiring.

Steps:

• Locate sensor: Locate the outdoor temperature sensor mounted on an exterior wall, usually on the north or shaded side.
• Inspect cable: Inspect the cable and junction box for physical damage. Repair or replace any damaged sections.
• Check connections: At the WCM controller, ensure the outdoor sensor terminals are tight and that wires are not swapped.
• Replace sensor: If the sensor is visibly damaged or its readings are clearly incorrect, replace it with a genuine Weishaupt outdoor sensor.
