Possible Causes
Burner firing at a reduced rate, Incorrect heating curve setting on the WCM controller, Clogged air filter (warm air), Undersized or air-locked heating system.
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety: Controls can be adjusted by the user, but combustion settings must not be altered.
Steps:
- Check thermostat: Ensure room thermostats are set above the current room temperature and are calling for heat.
- Heating curve: On the Weishaupt WCM controller, review the heating curve or setpoint settings. Increase them slightly within the recommended range if the building is consistently underheated.
- Air filters: For warm air furnaces, replace or clean clogged filters to restore airflow.
- Bleed radiators: For hydronic systems, bleed radiators to remove air and improve heat transfer.
If heat remains inadequate, a technician should check the burner output, combustion settings, and system design.
