Aquaterra Spas
Low Jet Pressure / Restricted Flow
Jets are weak or have very little pressure even though the pump is running.

Possible Causes
Dirty filter cartridge, Air lock in jet pump, Partially closed slice valves, Debris in jet nozzles or suction fittings
How to Fix / Troubleshooting
Safety first: Turn off power before removing filters or opening the equipment bay.
- Clean or remove filter: Take out the Aquaterra filter cartridge and rinse thoroughly. Test jet strength with the filter removed (filter well covered). If pressure improves, replace the filter.
- Open all jets: Turn each jet face counterclockwise to fully open. Some jets can be individually shut off and may be restricting flow.
- Check valves: Ensure all slice valves in the equipment bay are fully open.
- Bleed pump: Loosen the main jet pump union slightly to release trapped air, then retighten.
- Inspect for debris: Check suction covers and skimmer for leaves or debris that could restrict flow.
If jet pressure remains weak, the pump impeller may be worn or partially blocked and the jet pump may need service or replacement.
