COL
The display shows COL or COOL. The heater does not run, and the water temperature is significantly below the set point.
Cold Protection / Cool Condition
dr
The display shows dr or DR. The heater will not run, and the spa may shut down after attempting to heat.
Dry Heater / Insufficient Water in Heater Tube
dy
The display shows dy or DRY. The spa attempts to heat, then shuts down with an error, often after a refill.
Persistent Dry Heater Condition
EC
Display shows EC or ECON; spa heats slowly and may not maintain high temperatures during heavy use.
Economy Heating Mode Enabled
FLO
Control panel displays FLO or FL; jets may not run, the heater will not turn on, and the water may feel cool.
Low Flow / No Flow Through Heater
FLO
FLO appears intermittently, especially when jets are on high speed or when multiple users are in the tub.
Marginal Flow / Partially Restricted Plumbing
HL
Control panel displays HL or HLo; the spa shuts down the heater and sometimes the pumps, and water near the heater area may feel very hot.
High Limit Overheat Trip
Htr
Display shows Htr or HEAT ERR; heater icon flashes but water does not warm.
Heater Circuit Fault
ICE
The display shows ICE or IC. Pumps may run automatically even when the spa is not in use.
Freeze Protection Mode
LOC
The display shows LOC or a lock icon. Buttons on the keypad do not respond.
Keypad Lock / Panel Lockout
OH
Display shows OH or OHH; pumps may run briefly then shut off, and water temperature is above the set point and may feel excessively hot.
Spa Water Overheat Condition
OH2
Display shows OH2 or secondary overheat; spa shuts down quickly after starting.
Equipment Bay / Heater Tube Overheat
P1
Display shows P1 ERR or Pump 1 error; jets on Pump 1 do not operate correctly.
Pump 1 Drive or Overcurrent Fault
P2
Display shows P2 ERR or Pump 2 error; secondary jet zone does not operate.
Pump 2 Drive Fault
PF
The display shows PF or PFL. The spa shuts down unexpectedly and may restart after a delay.
Power Failure / Low Line Voltage Detection
Prr
The display shows Prr or PR. The spa may not heat and may limit pump operation.
Pressure Switch or Flow Switch Fault
SE
The display shows SE, SEn, or SENSOR. The spa may not heat or may shut down.
General Sensor Error
SLP
Display shows SLP or SLP mode; spa temperature drops between filter cycles.
Sleep Mode Active
Sn1
The display shows Sn1 or SN. The spa may not heat or may shut down its heating cycle.
Water Temperature Sensor Failure (Primary Sensor)
Sn2
The display shows Sn2, HL2, or a secondary sensor error. The spa may run but with limited heating or safety shutdowns.
High-Limit or Secondary Temperature Sensor Failure
Display is blank or shows only dashes; spa is unresponsive.
Control Panel Communication Failure
Symptom
Air blower (if equipped) does not turn on or shuts off quickly.
Air Blower Failure or Overheat
Symptom
Jets are weak or some seats have very little water pressure, even though the pump is running.
Reduced Jet Flow / Hydraulic Imbalance
Symptom
LED lights flicker, some colors do not work, or the light system is completely out.
Spa Lighting System Failure
Symptom
Ozone or ClearTech system not bubbling or no ozone smell at water surface.
Ozonator / ClearTech System Failure
Symptom
Pump runs, but there is no water movement from the jets (no flow).
Air Lock or Pump Prime Loss
Symptom
Spa cabinet or equipment bay shows signs of rodent damage (chewed wires, insulation).
Rodent Intrusion and Wiring Damage
Symptom
Spa is leaking water from under the cabinet or around the equipment bay.
Plumbing or Component Leak
Symptom
Spa makes a loud humming noise from the pump area, but the jets do not run.
Seized Pump Motor or Locked Rotor
Symptom
Spa trips the GFCI breaker immediately or within a few seconds of turning on.
Ground Fault / Short Circuit

Spa water has a persistent musty or moldy odor despite chemical treatment.
